Lutterworth Tennis Club runs ongoing disability tennis sessions and is continually developing opportunities for new participants to get involved. The club focuses on creating inclusive, confidence-building experiences for people of all ages and abilities.

Melton Mowbray Tennis Club runs a vibrant disability tennis programme that grew out of the club’s rapid development since its formation in 2018. After transforming four disused council courts into a thriving community facility, the club made inclusivity a key part of its mission.

Market Harborough Lawn Tennis Club has been running inclusive tennis coaching for adults with disabilities for over seven years. The programme began through support from Bright Ideas for Tennis and has since grown into a thriving weekly session supported by a large pool of dedicated volunteers.

Syston Northfields Tennis Club runs a weekly inclusive tennis session designed for people living with Parkinson’s and others who experience mobility challenges. The initiative began in early 2024 as a way to provide a welcoming, low-pressure environment where participants could enjoy the physical, mental and social benefits of tennis.

Desford Lawn Tennis Club offers a relaxed, autism-friendly tennis programme designed to help neurodiverse young people and their families enjoy sport in a safe, supportive environment. The club works closely with Hinckley and Bosworth Council, supporting their “Come and Try It” days as well as running dedicated holiday camps and weekly sessions throughout the year. These activities ensure that tennis is accessible for children who might otherwise find mainstream environments

Enderby Lawn Tennis Club runs weekly sessions for adults and young people with a range of disabilities, working closely with the local Adult Education Centre and a SEND school. The aim is to provide safe, enjoyable and structured opportunities for participants to be active, social and confident through tennis. Hinckley Town Tennis Club has been a leading example of inclusive tennis in Leicestershire for over twelve years. The club runs a well-established disability tennis programme, offering free weekly sessions for children and adults with a range of additional needs. A key strand of this work is the club’s long-standing partnership with Birkett House School, a local special school. Sessions take place outdoors at the club during the summer and move indoors to the Green Towers Cen

The Richard Moore Sports CIC runs weekly youth and adult Learning Disabilities Sports Clubs in Leicester, providing safe, inclusive and accessible opportunities for people with additional needs to be active, social and healthy. With support from the LTA’s Open Court programme, tennis has become a regular part of their multi-sports offer, delivered at least twice a month alongside other activities.
