Kate joined the Board in 2013. She was previously Company Secretary and is a lifelong tennis player at Syston Northfields Club where she is currently Chair. She has represented the county at several age groups and is the Seniors Co-Ordinator for Leicestershire.  Kate works in the family business in Thurmaston.

MIKE PIPER

LTA Councillor

Former Chairman of Tennis Leicestershire Mike is a life-long keen tennis player, has represented the county at senior level and is currently President of The Leicestershire Tennis & Squash Club. He has a background in venture capital and private equity and was a Director of 31 plc for circa 10 years. He is now non-executive chairman and investor in several local businesses. Mike is also a member of the rotary club of Leicester. His role as LTA Councillor for Leicestershire means the county is represented at a national level with the LTA.

ALISON ISON

Alison joined the board in 2016 and has been involved in Leicestershire tennis for many years and plays at Roundhill Tennis Club. She has represented Leicestershire tennis at both junior and senior level, and represented England in the 4 Nations. In addition to her Sponsorship role, she is Chair of the Leicestershire Tennis Festival. Recently retired, Alison spent much of her career working for a very famous local crisp company!

Director & County Safeguarding Officer (CSO) & Chairman of Media and Events

Committee Linsey joined the board in 2016 after volunteering on the Media and Events Committee. She also has responsibility for Safeguarding in the County and is the designated County Safeguarding Officer. She is mum to 3 sons who all play tennis and is a keen supporter of tennis tournaments at all levels. Linsey is a Lecturer in Business at a local FE College.

Steve joined the Board in 2018 having represented the County for over 40 years and is currently Club Captain for Leicester Forest East Tennis Club, as well as a member at David Lloyd Narborough. He has represented Leicestershire clubs in the European Championships and remains active across the county scene. Above all, Steve loves to see junior talent develop through into the Senior ranks and believes there is nothing better than seeing tennis thrive in Leicestershire.

Eamonn joined the Board in 2021 and has a background in accounting, with experience in both small and large organisations in a wide variety of roles, specialising in large infrastructure development projects. He is currently Treasurer at Enderby Lawn Tennis Club and has been a member of the club for over twenty years, where he guided the club to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and implemented the first Pay & Play SmartGate system in Leicestershire. Eamonn also sits on the Club Loan Committee.

Carolyn Osborne joined the TLL Board in 2021 after spending 3 years as Leicestershire’s County Competitions Coordinator. She enjoyed a career spanning 30 years in the sports industry working for several brands including Head tennis. Her local club is Ashby Castle, although her main involvement in the sport is as a tennis parent and keen fan.
