It is with sadness that we wish to inform you of the death of John Hunting. John was a long-standing member of the former County Association undertaking the roles of Treasurer, Secretary, LTA Councillor, Chair of the Junior County Closed, and also Chair of the Rules and Regulations at the LTA. In recognition of his work John was Leicestershire's first Honorary life Member and also received the LTA Meritorious Service award. Johns' funeral will take place on 9th January 1.30 at Great Glen Crematorium followed by refreshments at The Leicester Bowls Club on Kenwood Road. (John is second in from the right)
